The five of us came as a family and had a lovely stay at Domaine St Joseph. Breakfast was especially good, with gluten-free and dairy-free choices, which are hard to come by in France. Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the corridors and shared spaces were tidy and nicely decorated. The staff were kind and helpful, always smiling. We'd gladly stay again if we're back in the area.

The facilities are beautiful and the room itself was okay, but sleep was impossible. The hotel holds events, even during the week, and the loud microphones could be heard clearly in the bedroom. We had a terrible night. If getting any sleep is your goal, this place is a problem.

I stayed with family in August and found it peaceful and very clean. The rooms are roomy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's free parking and wifi. There are fans in every room, though no air conditioning, and the tree-filled park is lovely. Domaine Lyon Saint Joseph is a fully renovated former seminar. Since it mainly hosts corporate team-building groups, I can't say what busy periods are like, but in summer it suited me well as a quiet retreat. I didn't get to try the 'accro-branche'. I gave it 10 stars on Booking.com, but for some reason they wouldn't publish my review, so I'm leaving it here.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were great. They let us check in early even though we'd only booked half an hour before, brought extra milk when we asked, and the bartender was happy to talk us through the local beers. Getting to the town centre on foot takes a bit of a walk, though it's doable. Breakfast wasn't worth the price for us, as we'd had similar for half as much.

We barely heard the highway traffic from below, since the place is set well back from the main road. The pool has long hours, opening early and closing late. The restaurant serves really good food, and the staff are friendly and capable. A great spot for a family stay. They even have their own liqueur bottling company.
