The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious, and the service was just right. The mum checked us in, then cooked and served us, including a group of eight German bikers. Breakfast came to the table, which was a nice touch. We were there in June 2024, and although check-in was late at 18:30, it seemed like a family-run place, so maybe the mum had children to take care of. It's a small spot on a village road, and we weren't the only motorcyclists staying there. The parking is in a courtyard at the back, out of sight from the road, though it isn't secure. It's not a Relais Motards hotel, but perhaps it deserves to be one. We'd stay here again.

The hostess was absolutely lovely and took care of everything we needed. We only stayed one night on the way to Italy. The rooms seemed very recently built or refurbished, and were excellent. Breakfast was great, with outdoor seating and views over the friendly village. I would've liked coffee-making facilities, and my wife would've liked air conditioning.

We had a simple but tasty dinner with beer and wine, and enjoyed the hosts' company. It was just a 10-minute walk away. We arrived late at the B&B Hotel and I was looking for somewhere nearby to eat. When I called the Grand chatelard, the lady said they were closed, but they opened up for the two of us.
