Such a cozy, beautiful setting. I’d definitely recommend it!

We didn’t stay. The host’s welcome was already off-putting, and there’s a ram at the back of the garden. When we arrived, we couldn’t even bring ourselves to open the gate, wondering what we’d find behind it. The place outside is badly neglected, with rusty furniture left in the garden and no upkeep at all. Inside, the room was dark, smelled damp, and had flimsy makeshift furnishings. The photos are several years old and clearly aren’t of the same owners. P.S. Tell them when you’ll arrive so the lady doesn’t spend the whole day tied to her radiator waiting for you. That’s how the host described it when he called us that morning.

We had a really lovely stay. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the welcome was very warm. We also enjoyed breakfast together. For dinner, we walked along the Dordogne banks for about 15 minutes to the riverside restaurant "Les Soeurs Guinguettes". Booking ahead is highly recommended. Great value for money.

Cats and dogs roam this charming place, which feels a bit like Noah's Ark, in the middle of a lush garden. Breakfast came with birdsong, and the pleasant, articulate hostess shared helpful advice. Just what we love!
