We spent a superb week in this beautiful farmhouse with a pool. The gîte was spotless and had everything we needed, and the welcome was wonderful. The owners were kind and discreet, and very helpful with ideas for places to visit nearby. Thank you, and we hope to return someday.

We had a pleasant stay in the end, as we could sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owner was friendly, and the holiday location is lovely, with a stunning view over the valley. Our assigned gîte was clean and spacious enough for two, with an adequate bedroom and good mattresses. The main drawbacks were the very small shower room and a broken hand shower that had to be held. There was little ventilation and no windows, so I imagine it gets very hot in peak season, especially with no air conditioning. The Wi-Fi was also very poor, and apparently that can't be fixed. The pool looked well maintained, but the weather had left it too cold for us.

The terrace was excellent, with a lovely view and peaceful surroundings. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, and the owners were warm but discreet. We had a perfect stay and would gladly return.

The cottage is spacious and has everything you need, though the shower room is small. Outside, there’s a well-kept pool and a lovely garden with a magnificent old oak. The owner greeted us warmly and suggested places to visit. We took her advice and had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend it.

The Cades cottage and its terrace with a lovely view were a real bonus during our wonderful week at Mas du Vieux Chêne. The location is convenient for swimming in the Ardèche gorges and going canoeing, and we really enjoyed the pool. The owners were very friendly and gave us helpful advice about things to do nearby. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to this beautiful region 🙂
