Nemea Residence Le Grand Tetras

The clean, well-kept grounds have a lovely view over a large meadow, and there were lots of families with children. Many guests bring pets. The common room has table tennis, table football, and billiards, and there’s a small pool with comfortably warm water. We found an affordable place for two adults and four children, with everything we needed. Some things are a bit old, like the hallway carpets. There’s a sauna too, though we didn’t use it. A nearby bus goes to the gondola, and the nearest supermarket is a 20-minute walk through the woods. There’s a pizzeria around the corner, or you can walk along the river to the village. The resort seems to be frequented mainly by French guests; staff also speak English or do their best to communicate.

I rented a small apartment here almost a year ago. We hadn’t been too disappointed in previous years, and the concept was nice, but then management changed and the difference soon showed. For nearly a year, the landlord has been “moderating” my review and keeping me waiting. I think other tenants should know about the risks of deterioration at this residence, rather than just its outdated features. Hopefully the repairs have been done. And then there’s the broken sauna, advertised as a nice extra. Well, let’s just say...

The residence is on the edge of town, but still within walking distance. It’s easy to head out with your four-legged companion.

The setting is really pleasant, and the accommodation is comfortable with everything well equipped.
