6.2/10
2/10
The first room had a filthy toilet and a really strong, unpleasant smell, so we asked to move. Thankfully the second room didn't smell, but there were still traces left by the previous guest in its toilet. It's an old building, which wouldn't matter if it were properly cleaned. We decided to leave and weren't refunded. The owner says the rooms are 100% clean, so I don't expect things to improve soon.
8/10
There are a few decent restaurants nearby where you can get an evening meal. The hotel is on an industrial estate, and the room is basic, but it does the job for a night while travelling somewhere.
4/10
There were several places to eat close by, but the hotel needs refurbishment. The shower couldn't be used because it was blocked with limescale. The roof had apparently leaked at some point, leaving the floor and wall rotted in one corner.
2/10
The parking was another joke, with only a few small spaces. The room cost far too much for what it offered. There wasn't even basic soap, and the bathroom and shower were horrible. Cleanliness needs serious improvement: there was hair and crumbs on the bed sheets. With no air conditioning, the place was even worse on a very hot night.
8/10
The staff were super friendly, so I can't fault them. The hotel itself is in a great location, but my room overlooked the main road intersection and stayed noisy the whole time. I also had two freezing cold showers because there was no hot water. I thought the hotel might just be busy the first time, but it was the same very early the next morning. I mentioned it to staff as I left, and got the feeling it wasn't the first time they'd heard that complaint.
