Saxotel

The receptionist charged us 5 euros for coffee and juice, and the service felt disrespectful and completely indifferent. The room also had water leaking from the shower onto the floor, where there was black mold, and the bathroom wasn’t clean. We smelled dampness and black mold as soon as we entered. Looking more closely, the walls seemed to have been built over older walls, and I can only wonder how much moisture and mold is hidden inside. The health authority should shut the whole “hotel” down. Black mold is harmful to health, and if you want to wake up with an itchy throat or windpipe, book here. Yuk!!!

The hotel is cheap, so don’t expect anything premium, but it’s worth the money. The wooden construction makes it a bit noisy, though everyone quieted down after 11 and we slept well. The bed was clean. I’d give it 4 stars.

After a long day of driving, I was hoping for a comfortable night, but the hotel was hard to find and difficult to reach. It looked very rundown inside and out, and the corridors smelled bad. The room was very clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable, and there was no way to keep the room cool, so it was very hot. I found it too expensive. I’d stayed in a much better hotel with all the comforts for the same price.

It does the job as a budget hotel. The shower was nice, and there’s a paid continental breakfast and one EV charger. The room was fairly small, Wi-Fi costs extra, and the bathroom heater was broken.
