Hotel Cartusia

We arrived a little after 2pm and were first told the kitchen was closed, though fries were still available. Then another staff member came over, said the kitchen was fully closed, and told us to leave if we weren't ordering anything. They were so rude and unfriendly that the people at the next table were shocked by how they treated us.

The restaurant was the worst part: for all three days, the food was the same poor quality. The rooms were dirty, and in the triple rooms there weren't enough towels. They were also extremely bad, with carpet even in the bathroom. The hotel staff were rude and unwelcoming. This is the worst hotel I've ever tried. I strongly advise against staying here if you don't want dirty rooms, very rude staff, and bad non-local food.

The hiking trails nearby are breathtaking, and there's a little ski station right beside this amazing restaurant set among the greenery. The food was delicious and the service really good. I definitely recommend it!

The restaurant serves classic French food in generous portions at a fair price. The place is rustic and has a great view. But there are no overhead lights, the WiFi is very weak, and the included breakfast is basically a scam. There are no smoke detectors or sprinklers at all, which feels like an accident waiting to happen.
