The rooms are very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the pool is good. Staff were really nice, and the hotel itself is lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with dishes made from local produce that changed each day. A thoughtful touch. I’d recommend it.

Christine was friendly and welcoming, and knew lots about the area. The first room she showed us didn’t have air conditioning, but she quickly found us another room. It had no view, but was perfect for us. There’s no bar or service after 20.00. They do have wine available on an honesty basis, though there are no wine glasses, so we bought our own in Sarlat. Also, the walk back to the hotel from Sarlat is a very steep climb.

Christine made us feel welcome and had useful advice about when and where to visit castles and chateaux. The location was excellent for exploring Sarlat and the surrounding area. Rooms were adequate, breakfast was reasonably priced, and the pool looked very inviting. A great stay.

Christine was incredibly helpful, and we loved the hotel, its beautiful pool, and great breakfast. I’d definitely recommend it. Just be aware that it’s at the top of a steep hill, so you need to be reasonably fit for the walk back from town.

We loved having a quiet poolside retreat by day and the busy streets of Sarlat at night. The town centre is within an easy walk, and the hotel itself is lovely and peaceful. We had a relaxing, wonderful week and were well looked after throughout. The owner and her mother deserve a lot of credit for how much they care about their guests.
