The facilities made this one of the best campsites we've stayed at: modern, exceptionally clean washrooms, lots of hot water, a pool, and a bar with a good choice of food and drinks. There are plenty of things to do too, from table tennis and volleyball to pétanque, a library in English and French, and a free pool table in the bar. Eric was so helpful when we arrived, explaining the campsite and how to get into Sarlat. It's a lovely place for campervans, and the chalets look great as well. We only stayed two nights this time, but I'm sure we'll come back.

The climb back to the campsite is a tough one, so keep that in mind if you'll be carrying shopping uphill. Still, we had a lovely overnight stay at Les Chalets. Our small VW van had a level pitch beside the wooded area, near the washing facilities, and the place was spotless, quiet, and peaceful. We slept like kings. The welcome was wonderful, with the gentleman who checked us in explaining the facilities and giving us tips about Sarlat and its restaurants. And the resident dog gave us a lovely cuddle, the cherry on top!

The walk back up from magnificent Sarlat is a hard one, but the site was well worth it. We stayed in a campervan in mid-October and had a perfect pitch, great showers and washrooms, and a beautiful pool. Thanks for having us.

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic three-night stay at this peaceful, spacious motorhome site about 1 km from the centre of Sarlat. It's a lovely place for motorhomes, with holiday chalets too. Facilities include a bar, pool, games rooms and restaurant, plus toilets, showers, sinks, electricity, potable water, chemical toilet disposal, and grey water disposal. We'd thoroughly recommend it.

It was quiet and the attendant was kind, which is why I'm giving it one star. Just know this is a camping place, close to the city, but you need to bring your own sheets, towels, soap, and toilet paper. It's run down and not suitable for travelers flying into France.
