The breakfast was generous, and the host was very welcoming. Still, the room felt damp, with cobwebs and damp patches on the walls. I also wasn't happy with the eco-friendly toilet in a hotel room.

The house has such a calm feel, and breakfast was perfect. We stayed five days, but it felt far too short. It's a peaceful, beautiful spot above Sarlat, surrounded by lush greenery and forest, with squirrels playing freely nearby. Bernard and Frédérique were discreet and very friendly, and gave us excellent advice. A wonderful place to stay, where a good night's sleep really does happen. Jean Luc and Danièle

We stayed in the bright, modern Les Tilleuls room, and there’s a nice little lounge shared with the other two rooms where you can make tea or coffee. The owners welcomed us wonderfully and gave us great tips on restaurants in Sarlat and places to visit nearby. A very good address in Sarlat.

The room was clean and bright, and we received a friendly welcome. Breakfast was basic but generous. I wasn't keen on the eco-friendly toilet because of its unpleasant smell.

Bernard and his wife are wonderful hosts, and Les Tilleul gives you a real taste of rural France. It's also a handy base for exploring Sarlat and the many prehistoric sites around the Perigord region. Definitely worth trying.
