Hôtel d'Albion

The hosts were genuinely lovely and very helpful, and breakfast was hearty. There’s secure garage space for bikes, which is a real plus when you’re here to ride Mont Ventoux. The hotel is basic, but comfortable and incredibly good value, with a great starting point for the climb. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was tasteful without feeling cluttered, and we slept well in the quiet town. Our bikes were safely put in the locked garage. We arrived late, but the hostess greeted us warmly and even offered to make us something to eat though the restaurant had closed. Breakfast was delicious, and the husband and wife running the little hotel were attentive throughout. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed the typical French breakfast, and dinner was a lovely experience too. Monsieur picked a particularly nice bottle of red wine for us, on the heavier side because we’re Australian, while Madam cooked a delicious three course meal. The small, family run Hotel Albion is comfortably furnished, though not lavishly. The husband and wife who run it showed us exceptional hospitality. We’d recommend it without hesitation.

We’re always welcomed like old friends here, and every need is handled with kindness and care. For a relaxing stay and a delicious meal, we keep choosing the Sault side of Ventoux for our cycling trips. Thanks again for such generous hospitality. We can’t wait to come back.
