The half-board deal worked out well, with a varied breakfast buffet of sweet and savoury options, including local products, and dinner. After a day of hiking, though, the three-course meal might feel a little small, so à la carte may suit a bigger appetite. The dining room and breakfast room look out over the valley, and the terrace sits under a lovely mulberry tree. We had a spacious, comfortable luxury double room with a spa bath, TV and mini-bar. Outside, the garden slopes down past cherry and lime trees to the pool. It’s a lovely place to stroll or stretch out on the grass, and pets are welcome. The location feels secluded and very quiet, though local attractions are actually nearby. The road in is winding and could put you off, but it’s only 5km and well sign-posted from D102.

Dinner was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. We loved the beautiful view and the mesmerizing atmosphere, and the beds were comfortable. It’s a great place for families with children. Highly recommend it, and thanks for a lovely stay. See you next time!

The dinner was the best part, outstanding and not even expensive. There’s a pool, tennis court and a big open area, plus WLAN. It’s a romantic place and nice for children, with everything you’d expect from a wannabe location. Really nice.

The pool was beautiful, though it’s a shame the water was so cold. The views were great, the staff friendly and the food delicious.
