The rooms were spacious, the beds comfy, and the bathroom and kitchen were both generous in size. It was clean and had everything we needed, plus small welcoming touches. Christine was the highlight, always smiling and thoughtful, and her book of visitor tips was really useful. We were all so happy there, thank you, Christine! The apartment is in a complex, so the balconies sit fairly close together when you’re outside on a warm day. We liked that, though. It made us feel connected to village life.

We’ll be back next year! Christine’s guidebook, helpful advice and assistance made our stay easy, and the big balcony was lovely for a glass of wine in the evening. The apartments feel brand new, thoughtfully styled and comfortable for a family. It’s a quiet village, with a bakery just 20 metres from the house, and a great base for exploring Alsace. This is where we’ll stay whenever we’re in the region.

Set among the autumn vineyards of Alsace in the northern Vosges, the place felt wonderfully romantic. It’s great value, with covered parking in the courtyard and everything we needed in the apartment. The hosts were exceptionally kind, friendly while still giving us space. We’ll definitely come back.

We spent three nights in The Swallows' Lair, the half-timbered house, and it felt like a cozy little nest. Christine made us feel very welcome, and the rental was quiet and well situated. Everything was comfortable and extremely well equipped. We loved the whole stay.

There were thoughtful Alsatian touches waiting for us when we arrived, and the owners deserve a thank you. The booklet covered what we needed to know for a good stay, from nearby activities to bakeries and restaurants. The cottage itself is modern and very well equipped, with all the needed appliances, a washing machine and good quality bedding. Everything seems set up to make the visit enjoyable.
