The 6€ ticket also gets you a discount at the Musée du Pain across the street, which is a nice bonus. Inside, there's a lot to take in, and the museum is engaging enough to make a trip to Selestat worthwhile. The explanations are translated into English and German. The guided tour costs +2€, has some great insights, but is currently only offered in French.

It's smaller than I expected, but there's a lot to learn here, so it's definitely worth visiting. Don't assume you'll be through it in an hour or less. You could easily spend the whole day.

A small, specialized museum with a nice interactive exhibition. We had a pleasant afternoon and learned a few things. We were also lucky enough to catch the “la bibliothèque, la nuit” VR show from Canada, which was a really unique experience. Recommended!

The building has been nicely renovated, and the exhibition is beautiful and well presented. Still, it felt too small for how much I wanted to learn. I enjoyed the visit, though, and if you can, make sure to choose the Guided visit.
