The course was the standout for us, beautifully kept and woven into the local topography. Some tee boxes set up really satisfying drives, and the greens were fast and true. It was a challenging round, but a rewarding one. While we played golf, our wives spent the day at the Spa. They had access to all the facilities, enjoyed the sauna and steam room, a great facial, and a good lunch. We were there today and are already looking forward to going back. At £60, the value wasn't bad either.

Even in our seventies, we still love walking this course, though these days we'd probably take a buggy. It stays playable for nearly the whole year, with just a bit of ice in winter. Joel Carol, the head green keeper, has done a fantastic job, and the hotel and spa staff are great too. A real paradise for golfers at every level. Highly, highly recommended. ♥ ♥ ♥

The service was really friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool was good. We visited at the end of August, when the course was in fabulous condition, though the place is very remote. It was quite expensive, and the apartment decor let our stay down. In 2021 it was looking very tired and badly in need of refurbishment. We also had no wi-fi for our week-long stay, because of what we were told were “difficult technical reasons”.

The restaurant lunch was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful. I only played 18 holes at Falgos in August 2013 and didn't stay at the hotel, though it looked pretty nice. The setting high in the French Pyrenees was lovely, and the course itself was beautiful. As a high handicapper, I found it tough: lots of hills, streams, trees, bushes and very deep rough, with narrow fairways that don't leave much room if your aim is off. I lost 6 balls, which is unusual for me. It's a long way from the larger coastal towns, but it seemed popular, with plenty of people playing that day.

I only stopped by in the morning for the Spa and lunch. The indoor pool was lovely, and so was the lunch. The golf course looked very nice too, though I haven't spent enough time here to say more about it. Nothing negative so far, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
