The lake and mountain views are stunning, and reception staff were friendly and helpful. I was there for five days while my husband attended a conference. Aurélie was a wonderful guide, though daily activities should be advertised more clearly. I only learned what was on through word of mouth. The tiny rooms have no air conditioning or window screens. Maybe that was manageable ten years ago, but these nights are suffocating with climate change. Dining was mixed at best: the staff were rigid and not keen to help, the vegetables were always overcooked, and the scrambled eggs were rubbery every morning. They also ran out ten minutes before breakfast ended at 9:30. Breakfast had fruit juice and coffee, lunch only coffee, and dinner neither, although you can buy coffee. Checkout at 10 am is enforced very strictly. Someone came into the room to remind us and asked us to leave the door open while I was sitting on the toilet.

The location is beautiful, with a view of the lake, and the staff are helpful when you can reach them. The front desk is in a separate building from the restaurants and isn’t open around the clock. The room itself is just a room, with nothing else to offer. We stayed three nights with breakfast included, tried it once, and chose not to eat there again because it was bad. I’d recommend this place for groups.

I came with a group. The reception and bar staff earned four stars from me, but the kitchen staff were disrespectful. After my first meal, they dismissed me instead of asking what they could prepare. If you have allergies or a sensitive stomach, I’d avoid eating here. The rooms also need more cleaning and fresher air. They smell bad. This morning, 8 October, I picked up three glasses in a row and every one was dirty. Yesterday afternoon, several people said their stomachs were burning so badly it hurt. I suspected the pasta because it tasted strange.
