Comfort Aparthotel Six-Fours

We booked the same day while traveling and got a one-bedroom for two. It was a nice aparthotel room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a great-sized balcony. The place is nice, the value for money is perfect, and the receptionist was really nice and attentive.

The building was being worked on while we were there, apparently as they’re trying to improve it. There were huge cracks in the walls, and I’m not sure the building is structurally sound. The living and bedroom walls were dirty. The bathtub can’t be used as a shower, just with a handheld, and it’s so high that my daughter fell getting out. I nearly fell too, so that felt pretty dangerous. The washing machine left marks on our clothes.

The bedroom was in poor condition overall, and cleanliness needs to improve. The housekeeper only comes once a week. The extra charges weren’t unreasonable, but my guest was very unhappy with her stay and left earlier than expected.

I arrived 30 minutes before reception closed after paying 40€ for a taxi, but the woman on duty was more focused on shutting down the computer and leaving on time than helping with my last-minute booking. She was stressed and unreasonable, like a “computer says no” robot, offering problems instead of solutions. The service felt awful and inhuman, and she wasn’t accommodating at all. She left me outside in the dark with all my bags and told me to go to an Ibis nearby. After sitting on the hotel pavement for an hour at night, I managed to arrange an Airbnb and a taxi to get there. Truly awful.
