Yourte au Paradis

The yurt felt authentic and was lovely, and we stayed warm even in early March. It was a charming, peaceful experience, with a very friendly and accommodating host. Thanks for the great service. We highly recommend it.

Inside, the yurt was cozy and comfortable, and we liked the natural setting and the welcome. But the outside was disappointing: the canvas, which should have been white, looked neglected and needed regular cleaning. The doors also wouldn’t close properly, probably because of structural instability. It’s a shame nobody took the time to dismantle and put the yurt back together. We stayed one night.

Our short stay in the yurt was a wonderful experience, and our host made us feel very welcome. We’d highly recommend the place. Thanks again, and a big cuddle for the "little" dog we saw when we arrived 🐶🌹

Our first glimpse after arriving in the dark was amazing: little lights dotted the garden, which is completely screened by hedges for privacy, and the magnificent yurt glowed in the middle. The magic carried on inside. Mrs. Dumas told us everything in the yurt came from Mongolia, which gave it even more character, and the DVDs about nomadic Mongolian life made the stay feel more immersive. The place was clean, the bedding was high quality, breakfast generous, and the private bathroom just behind the yurt was very comfortable. We stayed two nights over the November 11th weekend, and the heating kept us warm despite the autumn temperatures. Ms. Dumas took great care to make sure our stay was perfect. I could talk about it for hours, my eyes are still sparkling. It exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it.
