Domaine Du Bois D'amont

We should have stayed another day just to unwind and enjoy the views and grounds. The room was pleasant, and the owners and their daughter were helpful and engaging, though a little eccentric for some tastes. I would have liked a shower curtain.

The problems came after checkout. The host sent a series of aggressive, disrespectful messages to the person who booked for us, who hadn't even stayed at the villa. She accused us of taking blankets that had never been provided, called us “pigs,” and threatened to report us to Booking.com. She also made xenophobic remarks, saying “only Russians behave like this,” because we had left the dishes unwashed, although washing them had never been stated as a requirement. She tried to make the person who booked feel responsible too, saying “your friends don’t respect you, and now your rating will suffer because of them.” That kind of personal attack and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful communication and a safe, judgment-free environment. At check-in, the host had briefly mentioned a few house rules, none of which seemed unusual. The stay itself was very disappointing.

The apartment was charming and had everything we needed. It worked well both as a place to spend time together and as a base for exploring the area. But the view is the real highlight, over The Valley, Cannes, and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. It really doesn't get better. I can only recommend this hotel.

Valerie was very helpful, and it was a pleasure meeting her. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay in the spacious, clean three-bedroom apartment at Domaine du Bois d'Amont. It was quiet, with a striking coast view, and Cabris is just a few minutes away by car. If you're after a pleasant, comfortable stay on the Cote d'Azur, these apartments are an easy choice.
