There was no one to greet us, and the owner only showed up at 10:30 pm. We had booked a twin room, but they tried to put us in a double. The place looked like a building site, and breakfast seemed to have had as little effort put into it as possible. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I can't think of anything positive. The owners seemed like they couldn't be bothered to live there.

A really good place to stay.

The meals were excellent, made with fresh produce from the garden, and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The place itself is fine, though I’d only suggest staying two or three nights at most. Be aware that there are four dogs. Guests who are afraid of dogs should be told in advance, since they might not feel comfortable. The rooms also need better soundproofing: you can hear the neighbors’ TV and the one in the living room. Some fixtures are dated or damaged, including a leaking shower faucet, a squeaky shutter, and a broken door handle with no key. The duvets are too small for adults, especially larger adults.

The pets are very keen on getting at our food. We also had to rewash the dishes before using them, since the bowls had chocolate stains and the pans were greasy. The owners were constantly on our backs, so there was absolutely no privacy.

We were very happy with our visit. The room was perfect, tastefully decorated, and the details were well taken care of. The hosts looked after their guests and gave us a wonderful welcome. Thank you, and keep it up!
