We arrived without a reservation and still got a table at noon. The waiters were really nice and spoke English, and the food and desserts were great. A perfect lunch stop during a hike.

During a four-day hike with friends, we spent one night at the Schallern. The rooms are a little dated, which adds to the hotel’s charm, but they’re clean and the beds are nice. Everything you need. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel welcome. Dinner was delicious, and I’d recommend the picnic too. You won’t go hungry, so leave a bit of room in your backpack! 🙂 A top place, highly recommended.

We spent five wonderful days at Le Schallern with our dog. The host was incredibly friendly and did everything to make us feel at home, from the food to providing maps for our walks. The accommodation is cozy, and the rooms have a great view across the valley :-)
