Beau T2 au centre de Strasbourg

The staff were lovely, and we chose the hotel because it was quite new. Christmas prices can get steep, as you'd expect, so book ahead if you can. We reserved months in advance and it was still expensive for an ibis Styles. We skipped the car park and left the car on the surrounding streets. Since we arrived on a Saturday night, we paid through 7pm and then parking was free until Monday morning. If you email the hotel, they have plenty of useful information about parking options. Their own website, separate from the Accor app, was helpful for walks around the hotel and to the Christmas markets.

I had a very pleasant weekend at Ibis Styles République. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with public transport, amenities, and many city attractions nearby. I'd definitely recommend it for a short city break.

We stayed two nights with breakfast included. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A Nespresso machine with coffee capsules and complimentary tea was a nice extra, as was the small jar of jam left as a welcome gift. Breakfast had a good selection of pastries, fruit juices, and cold cuts. We'd stayed at an ibis Budget in Paris before, where they also had things like sealed yoghurt cups and bananas. It would have been nice to find similar options here. The hotel is a three to four-minute walk from public transport, so it's easy to reach the sights and train station.

The interior design is beautiful, the breakfast was perfect, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good too, about a 15-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. Highly recommended, five stars!
