Hotel Le Bristol

We had a nice stay for two nights. The room was great, warm, and cozy, with a good view of the central station. Breakfast was fresh, though it would be nice to have more choices. One thing to note: checkout was at noon, but a housekeeping lady came into the room at 11am while we were still asleep. The bed is right in view when you enter, and she saw us not properly dressed or covered. The room temperature had felt a little high for us. We recommend the hotel for its great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff :)

The upgrade to a newly refurbished room was great. It was clean and modern, with lots of space and a king size bed. The shower was lovely, with plenty of hot water, and we had a lovely view of the station and square. Helpful staff and a satisfying breakfast. Great for catching the train or getting to the island. Wonderful stay.

Our family has stayed in several rooms across Europe, and this was a disappointing experience. We booked through booking.com and regret that Hotel Bristol was offered as a choice. One of our two rooms had small flies and a sewage smell. To be fair, the other room was remodeled and nice, and even had a view. We were moved to another room, but it had a similar problem. Again, we had no issue with one of the rooms, but 50 percent of our family was disgusted. We tried unsuccessfully to get a refund for one room through both booking.com and Hotel Bristol. We were met with denials that our contacts and the problem had occurred. There are other hotel options in Strasbourg, and I'd avoid this one.

Better than I expected. The room was warm and nice, with a clean bed, for a reasonable price. The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower was easy to adjust, with warm water and strong pressure. No complaints at all. I borrowed two wine glasses for three days and had three bottles of wine in the room.
