ibis budget Strasbourg Centre Republique

I’d like to thank Ms. Camille Bauer for helping us sort out a payment issue. Breakfast, coffee, and the other amenities were quite satisfactory, and the hotel is a very good value for money. It’s reasonably close to the center, about 20-25 minutes on foot or roughly 10 minutes by public transport. There’s a bus line on the street above and a tram line below. The rooms were generally adequate, but the heating could have been better. We got an extra blanket when we asked, though I still expected more from the heating.

The hotel was okay, but I wish breakfast had included some vegetables. A few cucumbers and tomatoes would’ve been plenty. Vegetables can support your immune system and give you natural energy without feeling heavy or greasy, and eating them regularly can help with hydration and general well-being.

It was just four bus stops from the train station, and the room was compact but comfortable. Natalie at reception was welcoming and helpful, showing us how to get to the main sights. Her professionalism and focus on guests really stood out.

The room was on the small side but perfectly comfortable, and the staff were efficient and helpful. For me, this was very good value, including a good breakfast. It’s a little way out from the old center, but public transport makes it easy to get there and to the train station. Although it’s called Ibis Budget, it’s as good as, if not better than, many standard Ibis hotels. It’s very well appointed and well managed.
