We arrived around seven in the evening, in the rain and after dark, with two children and two dogs. Finding somewhere else at short notice was difficult. We were lucky to find a place nearby through a private host on Booking, though it didn't have the same comforts. We'd booked through Booking from Tarragona, and only called the contact number when we got there to find out that the chalet was no longer being rented because of family problems. The woman told us she'd informed Booking about this 100 times, but the listing was still up and they had charged us in advance. They didn't object to refunding us, but the money wouldn't come back for a few days, while we had to pay for emergency accommodation in the meantime.

The owner was really friendly and attentive, and the house had everything we needed for a few days. It's well connected and close to both supermarkets and hiking trails. I'd definitely recommend it.
