We’ve stayed three times now, and the rooms have always been quiet even though the hotel is right on the main square. They’re clean and nicely decorated, and Jean Marc is a wonderfully welcoming host, especially with children. Don’t miss breakfast. It’s a great place to stay and well worth the price.

The Wi-Fi was very weak, or completely out of service. We also ran into a rule about food in the room that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand: my friend brought a kebab from downstairs, and the reception guy stopped her from eating it there. One night I asked for water and was given two bottles, then charged 2 euros, whereas water is usually free in other hotels. At breakfast, the reception guy kept checking on everyone, which made us uncomfortable. On our first morning, when it was only the three of us in the hotel, he put out just three croissants, one each. He was watching what we did a lot of the time. The worst part was the toilet smell in our third-floor room. It seemed like there was a problem with the toilet sewer, and the smell filled the room all night. My two colleagues and I stayed for a week, and the whole experience was a disaster. I’m surprised by the good comments about this hotel. Maybe we were just unlucky, but I hope the managers read this and understand how bad the stay was. It was bad enough that I felt compelled to write such a long review.

The welcome was warm, and I had nothing to complain about. The rooms were exceptional, well-equipped, and, above all, very clean. Breakfast was delicious and served in a spacious room, which was the icing on the cake. Many thanks to the manager. I highly recommend this hotel.
