The Berry Canal path right next door is lovely for a run, hike, or walk, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Thénioux is such a charming little village in the Berry region, and this place is a gorgeous hidden gem. Clément and Michèle were both wonderful hosts. The restored 15th-century buildings are beautiful, while the rooms feel modern and work well for couples or families. Breakfast was delicious too, especially the creative homemade jams.

We had a perfect stay in this lovely old farmhouse, where historic character comes with modern comforts. The recently renovated rooms have good insulation, comfortable beds, and decor that feels both homey and luxurious. It’s a peaceful place surrounded by wineries and castles, and not too far from Paris. The family who runs it is very kind and caring. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet getaway.

A great central France stopover, with a really good breakfast and a beautiful setting. The people were so nice, and there’s a swimming pool and a hot tub. Such a well-kept secret!

The breakfast was great, and the chambres d'hôtes are stylish. There’s a swimming pool, plus a shared kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The facilities are excellent.

I was born in the Netherlands and skipped French at school, so even though I live in Luxembourg, my French isn’t very good. That’s why I’m writing in English. 😊 It all feels like home, not like a B and B. Everything is perfect! Chapeau!
