The food is homemade, with daily specials, and the beer selection is good, including IPA on draft. Prices seem fair for the region, and they welcome dogs, which is a big plus for us. The restaurant is a little outside the town centre, but worth the trip. A young couple recently took it over and have really changed the place for the better. Since it’s off season, they’re only open Thursday-Saturday, which makes sense.

I had a very pleasant stay. The service was very good, and the hotel had everything I needed. Special thanks to the administration for being so responsive and welcoming, with smiles that made the visit especially enjoyable.

I had dinner at the restaurant, and the meal was delicious, better than anything I’ve found in Gateshead.
