B&B HOTEL Moulins Toulon‑sur‑Allier

Breakfast stood out because everything was topped up often, which made it better than at other B&Bs we’ve stayed in. We were there for one night with our young children, and the clean room was comfortable for all four of us. The bathroom was small but did what we needed. It’s an open-style B&B near the highway, with room entrances from outside.

The price felt much too high for what we got. Our room was tiny, and the shower was so cramped that someone 180 cm or taller probably couldn’t stand in it. We were on the second floor, and all the rooms have outside entrances, like a motel. Despite Wi-Fi being listed as an amenity on the website, we couldn’t get it in our room. I’m not sure the shower even meets the legal height requirement.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was tasty. There’s plenty of free parking. My 5G only worked outside, and the road right in front of the entrance is badly damaged.

The room was clean and tidy, but after staying at B&BHotel Nevers, this one was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was OK, though the products weren’t local. The yoghurt, butter, and coffee came from Bretagne.
