Apartments Riverside Toulouse, the ART of hosting

Having a secure parking spot was a real bonus, and the apartment's location made it easy to get everywhere. It's spacious, nicely decorated, and well equipped. The owner was responsive and easy to reach. We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Harmony in Toulouse and highly recommend it.

After we booked at the prices they advertised, Riverside Toulouse canceled, apparently after deciding they could charge more. They raised the rate by $100 a night and expected us to book again. The rental company acted unethically and showed complete disregard for its clients. I'd strongly suggest avoiding them, since they may put you through the same runaround for their own profit. A terrible experience.

The host was attentive whenever we needed anything, and the rental was quiet, very clean, and comfortable. We couldn't have chosen a better place in Toulouse, France. We'd definitely stay there again. Thumbs up, and thank you.

The apartment was spacious for two, nicely furnished, reasonably clean, and in a good location. But the maintenance and setup were poor enough that, as a former rental property owner, I found it unacceptable. The freezer door had been left open, and the freezer was heavily frosted over, with about five litres of water from the thawing. The advertised washer-dryer was taped shut with a clear sign saying it was broken and couldn't be used. We arrived by cab after sunset, only to find the entry instructions were written for someone driving. We had to walk 200 meters to another spot, enter a code at a locked gate, collect a key from a mailbox, go back to the apartment, unlock the entry gate, find a mailbox there, and get a second set of keys before we could get inside. It was a bit of a nightmare. There were no appliance instructions or welcoming supplies like water, spices, coffee, or services, and we had no paper towels or dish detergent. The bath towels were poor quality, there was very little soap, and no trash can liners or shopping bags. The sightseeing literature was from last year. In short, I don't think the apartment was fit to rent in this condition. Antoine tried to be helpful, but I found him defensive and quick to blame the people renting the apartment whenever something went wrong. I expect he'll respond by making the problems sound like the renters' fault. They were his responsibility, and in its current state, the apartment shouldn't be rented.
