Toulouse is a beautiful city, and the people were just as lovely. Brush up on your French, though, you'll need it. We really enjoyed our visit and hope future travellers love it as much as we did. The location worked well, around a 20-30 minute walk to Capitole square, with plenty of shops and cafes along the way. The room was clean, and the kitchenette was decent, though we ate out every day. There was nothing especially good or bad about the room apart from the bed. It was very dated, and the mattress was incredibly firm, almost like sleeping on the floor. There was just one pillow per person, which made for a terrible night's sleep for me as a broad-shouldered person. We asked for another pillow, and got one on the second night. There was no tea or coffee, but you can buy those things at the spar opposite. We arrived around 11pm after our flight landed at 10.30pm, and hadn't been told the hotel closed after 10pm. There wasn't much we could do about the late arrival. A phone number was posted on the door, and the staff let us in and checked us in, so I have no complaint about their service. I'd rate this three-star accommodation at best, maybe two stars if you're a picky traveller.

I really wouldn't recommend this place. The staff were rude, and the receptionist was so unhelpful, with no compassion or understanding for clients. She shouldn't be working in hospitality. The culture here felt toxic. Avoid it at all costs. They deserve to go out of business.

The city is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel is well located for getting into town. The rooms were a little outdated, but the hotel was clean. We arrived after midnight with my teenage daughter and my mom and were locked out. The number on the window gave no further information about how to get into the building. We eventually got inside and settled. We also had to pay a €300 deposit, which we hadn't been told about when booking through a company. It's now been a month, and we still haven't received it back. The receptionist said we were cleared for a refund and that it should arrive within a few days of our departure.

We loved Toulouse. The apartment was a reasonable walk from the centre and close to a brilliant metro line. The room was fine, but our baby cot booking wasn't honored when we arrived, so the child had to use the sofa bed. We got a cot on the second night. The parking was underground and cost €11 per night, though I later realized I had been overcharged. The process was to go to the car park gate, then go inside for a parking key before checking in. Toulouse has a new Low Emission Zone with a complicated sticker system, and our hire car didn't have the required sticker. The apartment is inside the zone. We were told in 2023 that, since we were parking underground, there was no chance the restriction would be enforced, though camera enforcement might be introduced in 2024. We had to hope that was right. I still don't know how we could have got a sticker to follow the rules. It was very confusing, and in my opinion the apartment should give more information about this when people book.
