Residence Metropole Toulouse

I booked for a trip with elderly people and a baby, then contacted them to cancel as soon as they confirmed by message that the accessibility details in the listing were wrong. We wouldn’t have been able to get into the apartment in those circumstances. They admitted the information was incorrect but still wouldn’t let me cancel, so I paid the full amount without ever staying. I’m speechless at the lack of humanity, integrity, and values. For an accessible place with caring staff, stay at the hotel Citadines across the street. That’s where I ended up, and I’ll keep going back on my frequent trips.

I stayed one night in Toulouse on a business trip. The room had a bedroom, a shower and WC, a kitchen area with coffee and tea, TV, and WiFi. Good value for the price. Sorting out a change to my arrival time with the owner was very easy.

At least there was air conditioning, unlike at some other 4* hotels we stayed in. The rest was a mess. We had no hot water and had to take cold showers. There were three of us, but no pillow for the sofa bed, and it wasn’t set up for sleeping. As for a dishwashing sponge or cloth, forget it. French service at its finest.

There was an odd smell in the apartment, and the WiFi was extremely slow, if it connected at all.
