I've lived in France for a year, and this was the best meal I've had so far. It's an Auberge, so the selection is limited, but they worked with everyone to make sure we were happy with our orders. One guest wasn't sure about the gésier salad, so they gave him a sample. He didn't like it, and that was no problem. Some of the kids didn't like melon, and that was no problem either. This place was extraordinary in every respect. Don't miss it.

There's a near-enchanted garden full of things to discover, a kitchen garden packed with delights, and an area with chickens and goats. You're free to roam, and everything oozes taste. The bedroom is simple but tasteful. It has everything except a TV, though honestly, if you need a TV in this auberge, you don't deserve to stay there. The food was truly delicious. I'm vegetarian, and I was delighted to find a vegetarian assiette on the menu, with salads and vegetables from the garden, cooked and prepared beautifully, plus a fried cheese dish. My partner eats meat and is rather fussy, but he loved his food. The owners are a lovely, charismatic couple who make people feel at home. When we had trouble with the motorbike, they went out of their way to help us. All of that for a totally reasonable price. It's a place to stay for a few days and explore the truly stunning surroundings. One thing to know: it may not suit you if you need to leave early in the morning, since breakfast isn't served until 8.30.

We slept comfortably, and the hosts were friendly and interesting. A lovely spot with excellent food sourced onsite or locally.

We really enjoyed the hospitality and the fresh food was great. A must go to when you're in the area.

It's a very cozy place to eat, with a nice host, very good food, and a few locally brewed beers.
