Ferdinand Hotel Tours

The host made us feel incredibly welcome, and the service was hard to beat. We were comfortable throughout our visit. For a stay in Tours that adds something special to the trip, this is the place. Best hotel in town!

The location made it easy to get to restaurants and cafes and walk around the old town and river. The hotel was exceptionally clean and welcoming. Staff were very polite and glad to help with anything, and they were especially good with our young kids.

There’s no air conditioning in the rooms or lift in the hotel, so we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor. They don’t speak English. Worst place ever. And this is a brand new hotel in France, not in India.

From outside it looks unassuming and anonymous, but inside it’s full of colour and modern design. I liked quirky touches like the ostrich-head wall light in the dining area and reception. It’s very central, with excellent underground parking just five minutes away. The room was thoughtfully laid out, quiet, and had simple but adequate storage. Good lighting, a comfortable mattress, heavy blackout curtains, charging points on both sides of the bed, and, as a nice touch, a 60s rotary-dial phone. The shower room had plenty of space for your things and a full-length mirror. The staff were helpful and friendly, too. Very impressive.
