For a short stay, the studio works well: it's quiet and in a good location. It does feel a bit tight with a baby or toddler, though. Also, check whether the upstairs apartment will be occupied, since you'd share the hot water and heating.

The cottage itself was comfortable, functional, and well equipped for our group of 18. We loved the grounds, especially the pool, griddle, and outdoor dining area. What spoiled the end was the owner's hostile manner. He lives next door, and while renting out the cottage he acted as though he owned the place, speaking rudely to guests. Maybe it was clumsy, but it felt unforgivable when he was trying to lecture people. He seems completely out of touch with the Basque spirit. Such a shame! Pat

I called to ask about the reservation, and they spoke to me rudely before hanging up.
