ibis Paris CDG Airport

The main problem was the way the missing hairdryer was handled. Trip listed one in the room, but after my shower I found there wasn’t one. I couldn’t reach anyone at reception by phone, so my husband went down. One receptionist was dismissive, said it wasn’t their problem, and blamed Trip without trying to help. Another male staff member was more understanding and tried to assist. After a long wait we got a portable dryer, but had to return it as soon as I’d used it. It was disappointing to find a basic advertised item missing, and then get so little help from part of the staff. That’s not the service I expect from an international hotel chain.

Chris at reception was knowledgeable, efficient, and very helpful. Check-in took about 20 minutes on a busy day, but he still made the service five-star. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel had the conveniences I needed, plus a little more.

Our airline-damaged suitcase was ruined, and Mathis was a great help. He showed us where to buy another one at the airport and gave us directions, all with a smile and a lovely attitude. He helped us get rid of the damaged luggage too. Mathis and the rest of the front desk team were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks so much.

The airport shuttle was especially useful, and the location worked perfectly for our early flight from Paris after arriving from Switzerland. It was a comfortable place to spend the night and did the job as a transit hotel. The rooms, though, felt quite dated and badly in need of an upgrade. Breakfast was included and adequate, but nothing special, while the dining room was crowded and rowdy.
