Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful with every question, and we came away with a really happy family holiday to remember. The gite had everything we needed. The pool was a big hit with the four children, and we made good use of the ping pong and fitness machines. By the end of our two weeks, our four-year-old had become a darts master. We'd love to come back, perhaps in 2018, if there's room. Sorry this review took so long to post, and thank you for the best two weeks' holiday.

The shower was broken, which was the one downside. Otherwise, the hosts were friendly, the place was very clean, and the peaceful setting had a beautiful fishing lake.

The setting is peaceful and idyllic, and it's a lovely region. We had a really pleasant evening and night, with a very clean, spacious, comfortable room. Laurent was welcoming and very friendly, if quite chatty. Dinner was delicious, made with local products, and the portions were generous. Booking ahead was a good idea since the farm is isolated, with restaurants otherwise requiring a trip to Moulins or Nevers. Breakfast was included: bread, brioche, sliced bread, homemade jams, yogurt, and fruit juice. Some savory choices or fruit might have been a nice addition. We didn't stay long enough to try the pool.
