We didn’t realize the living room and kitchen were shared with other people, so privacy was lacking. Our four-bed room in the cottage also wasn’t very comfortable, the mattresses felt medieval. The place was clean, and the hosts were friendly and well-meaning. For the price, I expected a little more.

We came back, and it still feels like a wonderful home away from home. The service is personal, since it’s a home rather than a hotel, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms clean and fresh, and the food excellent.

The owner was a huge help, and the pretty little cottage, over 500 years old, had everything we needed.
