We explored the surrounding area during a lovely weekend away in nature to celebrate a birthday in advance. It was just the relaxing getaway we wanted. Thanks again for the warm welcome and kindness. I highly recommend this unique experience.

Carole gave us great tips for seeing this stunning region, and we had a fantastic fishing trip. We didn't get to try her cooking, so book ahead if you'd like to eat at her restaurant. The caravans sit beside a beautiful little pond, and our welcome was so warm. Everything was cozy, spotless, and wonderfully rural and peaceful, from the accommodation to the bathrooms. Breakfast was fit for a king, with fresh produce and homemade jams. There was also a fire pit and a barbecue. The gypsy caravans have a lovely old-fashioned charm, and the owners are kind and attentive. Outside, the setting feels like a little bird sanctuary. You can row on the pond, hike nearby, or cycle along forest trails, depending on whether you feel like taking it easy or being more active. We also loved the homemade apple jelly, made from apples picked on the property. It went down well with the whole family, from the 7-year-olds to the 35-year-olds. This is a peaceful place for a nature break, with first-class comfort and a chance to escape the city bustle. Everything feels well kept and preserved. A special address for anyone looking for originality, calm, simplicity, and an authentic change of scene, while still being close to what matters.

We were struck by the peaceful setting and how warmly we were welcomed. The on-site restaurant was a real treat, too. It made for a weekend where we could completely switch off. Nearby, there are places to visit, including the big cat park and Gerberoy, one of France's most beautiful villages.
