A comfortable little hotel in Troyes old town, just two minutes from Rue Des Chats. The room was quiet and breakfast was good. It’s close to a square with public parking. There’s no lift.

The building has plenty of creaks and little annoyances, but the essentials are all in good shape. We slept well, the breakfasts were great, and the staff were helpful. There’s free parking about three minutes away, with some spaces covered by security cameras from the police station. The location is hard to beat for exploring this lovely medieval city.

I’ve come back four times over the years and have always been greeted warmly. It’s a modest place at a modest price, with old-fashioned decor, but the breakfast makes up for that.

The staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the price felt fair. Our room was bright and roomy, and the hotel sits somewhere peaceful just a few minutes from the historic centre. We’d happily recommend Hotel Arlequin for a night in Troyes.

We found it good value, with a really good buffet breakfast and staff who were friendly and happy to help. The hotel is welcoming, very clean and quiet, and right beside the historic centre.
