The Riesling gîte was a great place to spend two weeks, and its location worked well for exploring the region. It was clean, the beds were made up when we arrived, and the owners were welcoming and easy to reach. There was a good range of pillows to choose from, and nearby free parking was easy to find. Noise depends on whoever is staying in the gîte below; our neighbors were pretty quiet. One small drawback for me was the light: the curtains don't block enough to make the room fully dark, and some shutters don't close all the way. Thanks to both of you for being so kind.

We found the owners really friendly, and the apartment was already clean, neat, and ready when we arrived, so we could just put our things down. It's in a town full of typical Alsatian houses, and the street name really does fit 🤣. The place is also close to Colmar. If we're back in the area, I'd book this lovely discovery again without hesitation.
