Our apartment was roomy and comfortable, with a magnificent view over the garden to the mountains. The whole place is a huge, typically Basque family home, decorated with real taste. Pascaline welcomed us so warmly and gave us useful advice. Many thanks!

The room was spacious and not bad, but the service fell far short of what the price suggests. It was cold because the heating wasn’t on, and there were no blankets. In the bathroom, the shower gel bottle had only about three centimeters left, with just one bar of soap; the towels were fine. Breakfast was meager and poor quality, including burnt bread. Serving that felt disrespectful to a customer and unacceptable. It says a lot about how little care they take with guests.

We spent a wonderful week at Pascaline’s peaceful little Basque-style palace, lovely both inside and out. It’s a wooded park with loungers facing La Rhune, close to the coast and mountain resorts and not far from the Spanish border. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful bathroom and a separate toilet. Pascaline gave us a warm welcome, and breakfast was especially generous, with freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, and homemade cake. I definitely recommend this charming, quiet place.
