The generous breakfast and delicious homemade dinner were a real treat. We spent a night at La Ganse Blanche while touring by motorcycle and felt completely at ease. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the historic house has a special charm, with detailed, picturesque decor. Our room was spacious and felt like a museum, and the bathroom had a comfortable shower. We’d happily stay again if we get the chance. Thanks for your kindness and the lovely conversations.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the price felt very fair. The welcome was warm and attentive too. This is a truly distinctive guesthouse, filled with antiques and vintage pieces that show how much the owners care about them.

It feels like time stops here, and there’s so much for anyone who loves antiques to look through. My room was magnificent, fit for a princess. We also had an evening playing French billiards with friends, then a royal breakfast in the morning. The host was so kind and attentive. Thanks for such a lovely experience, I really recommend it.

The meals were delicious, made with such care by the lady of the house and served so kindly by the gentleman. We had a really enjoyable weekend in this magnificent house, which feels like a museum decorated with real passion. We also met some people from Germany and spent a wonderfully funny time together. Thanks again to our hosts for all the tourist information. We’d be very happy to come back.

We loved how peaceful the setting was, right in the center of Usson and close to the lake and cinema. We spent a family weekend at La Ganse Blanche, in a beautifully decorated house with a very neat period look. It feels like stepping back in time, while still having all the comforts. The layout is so welcoming. Breakfast was homemade, hearty, and delicious. Thanks for being so kind in our conversations and for welcoming our three dogs!
