The breakfast was overpriced, so I'm giving it four stars. The hotel itself is lovely, with a stunning view over the valley, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We felt right at home. The location is perfect, with a nice walk nearby to the Madone.

After lunch, customers can enjoy the swimming pool, and the huge outdoor terrace looks out over the Mercantour. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were reasonable. It's a family restaurant that passionately keeps old French magic alive.

Getting there from central Nice isn't especially easy, but it's worth the effort. The setting is attractive, and the traditional French food is hearty, with generous portions.

We ate with the hiking group and were happy with the food, though service was quite slow. There was plenty to eat. If you like lots of food, I can recommend this restaurant.
