We can’t thank Gwilym and Alexis enough for making our time in Uzes so special. They’re such kind, warm hosts. The hotel is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful details. We absolutely loved it.

The breakfast, made by an ex- Parisian chef, was delicious in the enchanting garden courtyard, even better than the Michelin restaurant next door. Alexis and Gwilym made us feel at home and helped with everything. The service was the kind you hope for and rarely get. This beautiful medieval boutique hotel has authentic, well-decorated rooms and a great spot in Uzes, making it a very good base for day trips to Gordes, Pont du Gard, and elsewhere. Great hotel, location, and hosts!

We spent a few days here in August 2020 and would happily stay again when we return to the region. Uzes is a lovely town, and the hotel sits in a wonderful spot in town. Our room was superb, the breakfasts were excellent, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Even with the obvious Covid-related measures, including distancing, face masks, and hand gel, the charming hosts made us feel incredibly welcome. Everything about the stay was perfect.

Breakfast in the courtyard was its own lovely experience. I could watch the clouds drift past, smell greenery climbing the walls, and hear the water fountain, with all the satisfying tastes and textures of French food. Gwilyn and Alex also had great recommendations for restaurants, places to see, and things to do, and helped me prepare for the next leg of my trip. I’ll always treasure the varied, thoughtful conversations I had with them, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again. This enchanting boutique hotel in beautiful Uzes, France, made my short stay one I’ll remember. I found it through the reviews, and the praise wasn’t exaggerated. I felt comfortable and well cared for, thanks to Gwilyn and Alex’s hospitality and their knack for understanding what guests needed. The hotel and room had so many elegant details I kept looking at them and taking photos. The room was exceptionally clean and equipped down to small things, like power outlets to suit all sorts of devices and wires, something I sometimes struggle to find in other hotels. I loved the toiletries from one of my favorite brands, and the fresh feeling of the room was soothing every time I walked in. Thank you!
