From the suite, we had a great view of the Uzès cathedral and tower. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, and the spacious room was very clean with a touch of class. The property felt sophisticated and comfortable, right in the middle of a beautiful, lively city, yet quiet and secure. Breakfast offered an impressive mix of sweet and savoury choices. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly, courteous, and efficient. There are some nasty stairs up to the second floor, but the porter carried our luggage. Valet parking is available in a nearby garage for a small fee. We’d highly recommend this exceptional property.

The staff here are amazing, every one of them. They make you feel like whatever you need is the most important thing they’re doing. This Relais & Chateaux hotel is one of the most wonderful places we’ve stayed in the south of France. It dates back to 1699, and there’s something to discover in every nook, from the old section with its ancient stone spiral stairs and no elevator to the newly opened heated pool and newer, more modern rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean, cozy, and historic in feel. It’s right in the center, close to every part of town, and a wonderful place for a getaway to Uzès. Did I mention the staff?

The room was nice, but the shower was handheld only. They didn’t replace the coffee pods, and no one answered when we called for more. Our room was also directly above the spot where they started moving carts out at 7 a.m.

A nice room and wonderful staff, right in the city center with everything within walking distance.

We had a really nice dinner, and the rooms were spacious with large beds and very comfy linens. It’s a beautiful hotel in Uzes, with public parking just down the street. The road to the entrance is closed to cars, but if you let the hotel know, they’ll lower the blocks so you can bring your luggage right to the door. We’d stay again if we were in the area. We traveled in July 2017.
