The apartment was comfortable and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. Carine and Olivier were warm and welcoming, and even offered us some local specialties. Vachères is a little-known paradise in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and Gîte l'Inattendu was a discovery close to our hearts. The small village restaurant and bistro, Le Clocher Bleu, is charming too. At Carine and Olivier's, you feel at home right away. The place is cozy, thoughtfully laid out, and very well equipped. The garden around the house was beautifully kept, and the owner's dogs were very friendly. The town is historic and charming, just right for a walk. We were delighted with our stay and highly recommend the place. The photos don't do it justice! Inside, the house was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
