We only had a brief stay in Valleraugue, but it was a very pleasant guesthouse. The room was perfect, and the house was beautiful without being pretentious. The surroundings were magnificent, and there was a lovely garden we didn’t have time to enjoy. Best of all was the delightful welcome. We highly recommend it! 👍😃

The staff were very welcoming, and I had a pleasant stay in this charming little hotel. The comfortable room and lovely garden, where breakfast is served, were highlights. It’s just steps from the start of the 4000 Steps hike. Breakfast was all sweet and didn’t feel substantial enough before the hike, though. I’ll likely come back.

The location at the foot of Mont Aigoual, the services, price, and welcome were all excellent. I organized a group weekend at La Coconnière, a charming gîte and bed and breakfast with a history-filled building and a pleasant local atmosphere. The manager was professional and attentive. We ate at the on-site restaurant too, and I won’t soon forget the crisp salad or the delicious local Cévennes cheesecake. Everything was perfect. Authenticity at last, five stars across the board!
