The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the staff were really nice. Breakfast had a good range of choices. We also had a sofa in the bathroom, which was funny but a cool extra.

It has a homey, grandparents' house kind of feel, which gives this little hotel its character. The place is simple and fairly priced, with clean, comfortable rooms. It's right in the city centre, just in front of the basilica, and you can usually find a parking spot on a nearby street. Breakfast is served in a small kitchen downstairs.

The decor feels tired and the rooms are basic, which I suppose explains the two-star rating. The bathroom soap marked 'Brit' was unpleasant, so bring your own. Still, the service is a highlight, as is the central location right across from the beautiful cathedral. In summer the garden is lovely, and services are available around the clock. Breakfast was great, with cheese, rolls, yogurt, pastries, coffee and juice.

It's good value, and the staff went out of their way to find us a parking spot right in front. They also suggested a great restaurant. For such a low price, where else do you get a bedroom view of Notre Dame?

A good choice for a short stay. It's a bit older, but clean, and the price feels fair for what you get. One small downside, the receptionist smokes, and the entrance hall smells of it.
